There was certainly no shortage of purple at the event organized by the KrakĂłw City Council to mark World Prematurity Day.

After all, purple is the color of tenderness, care, and hope. It is also a symbol of premature babies, who demonstrate their extraordinary strength from the very first days of their lives. This color filled the space, but above all, it filled the hearts of the participants at the OliEdu Foundation event, who together demonstrated how important it is to support the youngest patients and their families.

As part of the OliEdu Foundation’s #fioletowelove campaign for premature babies, we encourage you to celebrate “Purple November”!

This is a particularly busy month for showing solidarity and organizing fundraisers for premature babies—we remember them not only on November 17. Every social or educational activity, as well as every donation from a fundraiser, makes a huge difference to the lives of premature babies.

As part of last year’s #fioletowelove campaign for premature babies, we were able to support 17 hospitals with neonatal units throughout Poland!

Today, a hybrid meeting was held with a team of experts and practitioners!

It was organized by the OliEdu Foundation for Civic Education, which is carrying out a public health initiative titled “School Without Violence – Together for Health! Promoting Mental Health by Preventing Peer Violence.”

Participants in the meeting included psychologists, educators, a sociologist, and a lawyer.

As part of the previous #fioletowelove campaign for premature babies, we were able to support 17 hospitals with neonatal units throughout Poland!

The most popular items purchased by the hospitals were kangaroo care chairs, as well as pulse oximeters, bilirubin meters (useful for assessing the risk of neonatal jaundice), vein-finding scanners, stethoscopes, swaddles, mattresses, pillows, and even equipment to create a relaxation area for parents and their babies.

The Health of Young Adults in the Spotlight!

For the seventeenth time, Kraków has become the venue for an important discussion on health—this time focused on one of the most challenging and often underestimated groups: young adults. During the “Practitioners for Practitioners” medical conference, experts from various specialties will address health issues that are increasingly common in schools and educational institutions.

Prematurity is one of the most serious challenges facing modern medicine and education. Every such child, though tiny, carries with them a profound story of the struggle for life and health.

This makes initiatives that expand knowledge, bring together communities of specialists, and support families all the more necessary. This is precisely the role played by the conference “A Small Child—A Big Deal. Medical and Educational Challenges for Preterm Infants,” organized in Radom by the OliEdu Foundation as part of the nationwide #fioletowelove campaign.
